As we wrap up the Season of Creation with a celebration of St. Francis on October 5, St. Luke’s is partnering with local pet and animal-focused nonprofits to draw attention to the needs of animals in our community. Join us in Ballard Commons Park for a Ballard Pet Celebration to visit with local organizations and for a Blessing of the Animals.
Discover ways to get involved with animal care in our community with local nonprofits and shelters, find new resources from local pet businesses, and be entered into a FREE raffle for great giveaways from local companies just by showing up with your pet! Come at 12:00 pm for a short pet blessing service with St. Luke’s Episcopal Church. Bring your pet, a photo of a beloved pet who has passed, or photos of critters in your life that cannot be at the event. Individual blessings available anytime during the celebration.
