There are so many ways to take a Holy Pause this Lenten season, whether it’s with a short daily meditation, a book read, or by journeying with others in the Spiritual Pilgrimage. Take a look at some possibilities listed below.
St. Luke’s Spiritual Pilgrimage
Information sessions March 2 & 9 at 11:30 am | Are you new to church, the Episcopal Church or St. Luke’s? Do you have questions about Christian faith and practice? Would you like to deepen your spiritual journey in a community of fellow pilgrims? Every year during the seasons of Lent and Easter, we gather after worship for lunch and a time to explore and experience the basis of Christian faith, and to be companions for one another.
The first two sessions on March 2 & 9 will provide an introduction to the pilgrimage. Lunch and childcare will be provided. If you have any questions, please contact Canon Britt, britt@stlukesseattle.org.
Lenten Quiet Day at First Lutheran Church, West Seattle on Saturday March 29, 9am – Noon. Email monelliministry@cablespeed.com to reserve your spot.
United Thank Offering and Episcopal Migration Ministries are offering a multifaceted program this Lent to help people of all ages consider ways they both experience and provide welcome. Register here for a five-session book club on “The Ungrateful Refugee: What Immigrants Never Tell You” by Dina Nayeri. Zoom discussions will be held at noon Eastern on Tuesdays from March 11 through April 8.
This Lenten season, Episcopal Relief & Development has resources for you to engage in a deeper way with daily meditations. Explore the resources at www.episcopalrelief.org/church-in-action/lent/.
