Burying our Alleluia!

Thanks to a Congregational Development Grant, we are working to offer events once a month that foster intergenerational community in safe and fun ways. We had so much fun celebrating Bite-Sized Blessings on February 13th! Our next event will be Sunday, March 6th, as we mark the first Sunday of Lent by burying our Alleuias! We will have printed Alleuia’s for children and kids-at-heart to color; these can be taken home to be buried or hidden inside at home and brought out again at Easter! We will also have a large Alleuia banner that we will bury together out in the courtyard and dig back up again on Easter when we flower the cross! Join us in the courtyard at noon for about an hour as we color together and bury our alleluia’s for this Lenten season. We look forward to seeing everyone again; being together in safe ways is so heartening during these difficult days!

If you’d like to be a part of planning these events, please contact Mother Hillary at hillary@stlukesseattle.org. You can RSVP on the Facebook Event here! https://www.facebook.com/events/343274651036478
